Quick Guide to Adjust Paging and Input Volume

Use this guide to adjust both the announcement volume (speaker output) and the input volume (line-in audio) on the Algo 8301 Paging Adapter.

Step 1: Access the Web Interface

1. Connect to the Algo 8301’s IP address using a web browser.
2. Log in with your admin credentials:
  - Username: admin
  - Password: admin (or check the unit label)

Step 2: Lower Announcement (Paging) Volume

1. Navigate to **Basic Settings > Audio Settings**.
2. Locate the **Page Volume** or **Output Volume** slider.
3. Reduce the value gradually to achieve the desired volume.
4. Click **Save Settings** to apply changes.

Step 3: Lower Audio Input Volume

1. Go to **Advanced Settings > Audio**.
2. Locate the **Input Gain** or **Line-In Volume** control.
3. Reduce the value to lower the audio level received from external sources.
4. Click **Save Settings**.

Step 4: Test and Fine-Tune

1. Conduct a test page and monitor the audio levels.
2. If the volume is still too high or low, repeat steps 2 and 3 to fine-tune.

Optional: Adjust Ring or Multicast Volume

If using the Algo 8301 for ringing or multicast audio:
- Navigate to **Advanced Settings > Audio**.
- Adjust specific tone or multicast volume settings separately as needed.
